articule artist-run centre would like to invite local, national and international
artists, groups of artists and independent curators to submit exhibition
proposals for its programming season from September 2008 to June 2009.
Prior to sending a proposal, we strongly recommend that you consult our
website for current and recent exhibits, our mandate, gallery images and
floor plan for more information.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: January 15, 2008
As a counterpoint to the regular programming, Special Projects promotes independant projects of diverse natures for public presentation : public interventions, performances, screenings, music events, public talks, workshops etc. Support by articule's Special Projects functions as a co-presentation and comes in various forms including: financial, promotional and logistical support, access to the centre's equipment, administrative infrastructure and venue. Admissible expenses are: artist fees, costs related to promotion and presentation, opening, rental of space and equipment; and in some cases, contributions to production costs (artists books). Please allow a minimum two month period before your activity begins for your dossier to be reviewed by the committee.
