The Centennial Flight / Le vol centenaire / 百年翔 is a triple bill screening Tyrus (dir. Pamela Tom, 2015, 73 min.) and A Drownful Brilliance of Wings (dir. Sofia Bohdanowicz and Gillian Sze, 2015, 8 min.) to take place in Montreal’s Place Sun Yat-Sen, the public square situated in the heart of Chinatown. As part of Atelier Céladon’s long term commitment to holding space for Indigenous and People of Colour to convene on issues of identity, immigration legislation, and gentrification, The Centennial Flight will focus on histories of struggle in the Chinese-Canadian context.
