Please join our Supporting Member campaign and help jump-start articule’s moving fund! A few years ago, articule began to explore the possibility of purchasing a more spacious venue to support and expand its activities. At the heart of this endeavour is the acquisition of a larger exhibition venue, together with office space better suited to our growing needs.
In a constantly changing neighbourhood such as Mile End—in which artists and cultural organizations often find themselves threatened by gentrification and government budget cuts—the purchase of a new space or building would allow articule greater stability and strength with which to face these challenges.
As part of the Mécénat Placement Culture program, which encourages organizations to collect monies for major purchases such as new building, the government agrees to match each dollar that you pledge. It’s a great opportunity to partner with articule and help the centre’s long-term viability!
To express our thanks, donors will receive two complimentary tickets to our annual Cocktail Party, which will happen on Friday December 11, 2015. Each donor also receives an official tax receipt.
