On the occasion of our Annual General Assembly, we invite all articule members, aspiring members, and even the merely curious to join us for an evening of inspired artist-run centre fun & business. Under the auspices of “pink flamingos,” we will review the centre’s activities of the past year, and together look ahead at what is to come.

The AGA is the perfect opportunity to become involved or deepen your involvement with articule, the iconic contemporary art centre on Fairmount which strives for artistic rigour, interdisciplinarity, and social engagement. All are welcome.

Jef E. Barabara and Rehtse Ttelps will be spinning the tunes! Expect a lot of pink. Embrace the theme and show up in your best plumage!

Pre-AGM Fête/Dance Party/Potluck – featuring a DJ set by local superstar musician Jef E. Barbara; pink cocktails will be available, bring snacks to share.

The unveiling of the 2016-2017 programming! Presentations on the exhibitions and projects of articule’s upcoming programming year. 

Committee Reports – learn about the activities of the various committees that are integral to the centre’s structure & functioning, and sign up to join one, or several…

Financial Reports!

Elections – active members will vote to elect 3 new individuals to the Board of Directors.

Closing Party – celebrate the conclusion of the AGA proceedings with the most excellent DJ Rehtse Ttelps.

*To become a member, one has to participate in two assemblies within a programming year or attend one assembly and do four hours of volunteering. The annual fee is $1. Please note that you have to be a member to be able to vote.

A short orientation for new members will be offered at 5 PM on the day of the AGA. Registration at outreach @ articule . org is mandatory.
