Saturday, May 13, 2017 - 3:00pm

As part of the group exhibition The Garden of Speculations, you are invited to come meet the artists who will guide you through the gallery-turned-garden. Following this multisensory experience, you can engage further with the different worlds associated with each piece through a series of skill-sharing workshops, from gardening to observation to deep listening with plants. Offered by three of the exhibiting artists, material will be provided. Free entrance. Welcome to all!

Kelly Jaclynn Andres is an artist and PhD Candidate in the Interdisciplinary Humanities program at Concordia University in Montreal. Andres' work intermingles ecology and energies: living cellular species such as plants and micro-organisms; electronic mediums such as radio waves, electrons, and photons; and forms of interactive installations and performances for specific social and geophysical sites.

Maude Bernier Chabot lives and works in Montreal since 2005. She obtained a BFA from UQAM and an MFA in Sculpture from Concordia University. In 2009, she received the Prix Diagonale. Her work has been presented at Circa and Diagonale, Art Mûr, la Casa de la cultura de Hoguin (Cuba) and the Maison de la culture du Plateau Mont-Royal.

Maude Deslauriers is a visual artist living and working in Montreal. She currently works mainly with drawing and is also interested in body movement and video.
