This February’s General Assembly will be structured in an open talk-show format, hosted by artist Jordan Arseneault, and featuring members of the board and staff, mulled-wine hot chocolate, and possibly some free prizes under your chairs!
articule is a dynamic centre that is constantly in flux, and sometimes this leads to burning questions going unanswered, such as… Why is the articule facade green? What is going on in the basement? Who invented the signature cocktail? What are frogs? (and other more serious questions, of course). We wanted to take this opportunity to solicit and respond to questions from our membership in a convivial setting that will allow us to get to know each other and the centre a bit better. Also, there will be food and drinks!
The assembly is open to the public, but only members can vote. There are two ways to become an active member: by completing four hours of volunteer work and attending one general assembly within the same programming year, or by attending two general assemblies within the same programming year. The annual membership fee is $1.
Potential members can request a short orientation by emailing Sophie Le-Phat Ho, Outreach Coordinator, up until 24 hours before the assembly. The orientation will take place at 1:30 PM (upon request only).
