This two-day workshop addresses the energy that arises from taking a creative act, especially in a situation of performance and art-action. Participants will have a chance to look at how they relate to space and emptiness, and the questions those situations present.

The workshop is in four parts: 1) stretching and meditation; 2) continuous exercises in instantaneous performance; 3) creation of short performances according to precise rules; 4) journaling, exchange and discussion. Exercises will take place individually, in duo and sometimes as a group.

The workshop is very hands-on, focused on creativity in acts, attentiveness and exchange. The workshop is flexible and responsive to participants and to situations they will be invited to observe.

No previous knowledge of meditation or performance is necessary. Basic training on meditation will be given on the first day and all exercises in creativity will be guided at every step.

The workshop is addressed to artists and non-artists.

The workshop will be given in French but the facilitator is able to offer individual guidance in English, if required.
