About Monitor

For the last decade, SAVAC’s (South Asian Visual Arts Centre) annual experimental film and video program Monitor : South Asian Experiemental Film + Video, has held a steady engagement with an international community of artists, curators and critiques. It has carved out a unique place in Canada, initiating dialogues around the shifting nature of South Asian politics, economies and landscape through artists’ film and video.

She has curated exhibitions and screenings for Cultuurcentrum Bruges, Belgium; Contemporary Art Brussels; SOAS, University of London; Blackwood Gallery, Toronto; and was a 2014 Fellow of Global Art Forum 8, Dubai.
