Jonathan Plante was born in 1976. He lives and works in Montreal. His work mainly revolves around multidisciplinary installations and he explores the question of presence through the various transitory stages of image as it travels from documentation to the completed work. Greatly involved in the artistic community, Jonathan Plante is a technician at OBORO, a member of the Galerie Vox artistic consulting comity and a hands-on contributor to the activities of the articule artist center. His works are part of many private and public collections, including the Montreal Museum of Contemporary Arts. He is represented by Galerie Division.
