Sunday March 27th, 2-4pm
In collaboration with Agir and Au-delà Arc-en-Ciel (LGBT migrant and refugee Montreal collectifs)
The Living Histories Theatre Ensemble (LHTE), in collaboration with Agir, Au-délà Arc-en-ciel, and Articule, invites you to a special free playback theatre performance focusing on the experiences of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered/transsexual, and queer (LGBTQ) refugees and new immigrants. Playback theatre offers members of the audience the opportunity to share their stories and witness them being "played back" by the actors through various improvisational forms and techniques. Please note that while anyone is welcome to attend, this performance will prioritize the stories of LGBTQ refugees and new immigrants.
The Living Histories Theatre Ensemble is a collective of improvisational theatre artists, community organizers, and educators who work with Creative Alternatives, a community partner with Concordia University's Montreal Life Stories Project.
